Notice of Inframark Inspection of the Site
Published: September 16, 2025
We would like to inform you that Inframark, our community’s contracted utility operator, will have authorized personnel working throughout the neighborhood and, in some cases, on residential properties in the coming weeks.
This work is part of a scheduled assessment of the community’s wastewater infrastructure to ensure ongoing system reliability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
What to Expect
You may notice Inframark team members, clearly identified with uniforms and vehicles bearing the Inframark logo, performing the following tasks:
1. Sewer Televising
Purpose:
Small video cameras will be inserted into the underground sewer lines to inspect the condition of the pipes. This helps identify issues such as cracks, blockages, root intrusions, or collapsed sections that may require repair.
What to Expect:
• Work will primarily occur in the street or in easement areas behind homes.
• Temporary access to easements on private property may be required.
• There will be minimal disruption to your daily activities or sewer service.
3. Smoke Testing
Purpose:
A non-toxic, odorless smoke will be introduced into the sewer system to identify any leaks, illegal connections, or stormwater entry points. This is a standard method for detecting hidden defects in the system.
What to Expect:
• Smoke may be visible coming from roof vents, manholes, or the ground – this is normal and doesnot indicate a fire.
• If smoke enters your home, it usually means a dry trap (such as an unused sink or floor drain); simply run water to fill the trap and ventilate the area.
• Inframark personnel will notify emergency services in advance to avoid false alarms.
Timeline
Work is scheduled to begin the week of 9/22/2025 and will continue through 9/29/2025, weather permitting. Crews will be working during regular business hours.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this important infrastructure assessment. These proactive eforts help maintain the integrity of our sewer system and reduce the risk of costly emergency repairs in the future.
